Darian Rodriguez Heyman at the San Francisco kickoff of Social Media for Nonprofits.
Guest post by Darian Rodriguez Heyman & Ritu Sharma
Co-producers, Social Media for Nonprofits
You may have heard of Social Media for Nonprofits, a series of one-day conferences that provides nonprofit staffs with the tools and resources needed to create, manage and maximize their social media presence.
The series kicked off in San Francisco on June 29, headed to Washington, DC, and New York — and all were sell-outs and received rave reviews.
Next we’ll be heading to Los Angeles this Monday with a program that will once again share practical tips and tools for fundraising, marketing and advocacy.
Cost: $125. Conference registration includes:
- Entry to the 9:30am-5:30pm program at UCLA
- Continental breakfast and lunch
- Entry to the 6-9pm cocktail reception and book launch party for Nonprofit Management 101 (or $12 to attend just the Book Launch Party)
Special offer to Socialbrite readers
Socialbrite readers have a lot going on, from social enterprises designed to make the world a better place to work in nonprofits and on nonprofit boards. We need your help to ensure a packed house at UCLA.
So we’re giving away two tickets to Socialbrite readers who get the most comments or likes on a Facebook post on our Wall, or who get the most retweets on a message with the #sm4np hashtag. (Socialbrite founder J.D. Lasica will be the first speaker at our LA event.)
Come join us for a “Twitter Meets TED” format featuring top authors and experts, or you can just show up for the networking reception and book release party for Nonprofit Management 101. We’ve got top brass from Facebook, LinkedIn and Causes, plus leaders of PETA, NTEN and social fundraising platforms like Fundly and Razoo.
Look us up on the 22nd and please contact us with any questions or suggestions.
