Target audience: Cause organizations, nonprofits, educators, NGOs, journalists, general public. This is part of our ongoing series designed to help nonprofits and other organizations learn how to use and create media.
Here’s a 4-minute video with Jessica Kizorek of Two Parrot Productions, a video production company that works with nonprofits and the foundations that support them. I conducted it on the fly at the 2007 Web Video Summit in San Jose, Calif., in June 2007.
Jessica provides these six tips for shooting effective Web video:
1. Keep it short.
2. Keep it simple.
3. Use people’s faces.
4. Speak directly into the camera.
5. Use lighting effectively
6. Avoid talking heads
